India, July 30 -- Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Wednesday addressed the Rajya Sabha on Operation Sindoor and once again said US President Donald Trump had played no role in India's military operation against Pakistan in May.

He said no telephone conversation occurred between Indian PM Narendra Modi and Trump to halt the action.

"There was no telephonic conversation between the two leaders from April 22 to June 16," Jaishankar was quoted as saying in the Upper House of the Parliament.

Meanwhile, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday launched another attack on Narendra Modi over US President Donald Trump's "ceasefire" claims, even after the Prime Minister claimed no global leader asked India to stop Operation Sindoor....
