Modi-Xi to meet in Delhi amid BRICS Summit; Beijing stresses 'proper handling' of differences, enhance cooperation
India, Sept. 11 -- China on Friday said New Delhi and Beijing are arranging a bilateral meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit in New Delhi this weekend.
Speaking to reporters, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said, "China and India are arranging for the bilateral meeting between President Xi and Prime Minister Modi."
Ning said the meeting would mark the third consecutive year in which the two leaders have met, following their previous meetings in Kazan and Tianjin.
