India, March 28 -- Narendra Modi on Saturday said the government is taking all possible measures to ensure that the impact of the ongoing crisis in West Asia does not burden Indian citizens.
Speaking at an event, Modi noted that the global situation remains deeply concerning, with conflict continuing in the region for over a month. He highlighted that the tensions have triggered disruptions in the supply of essential commodities such as food, petrol, diesel, gas, and fertilizers across several countries.
"The government is taking every possible step to ensure that the burden of this crisis does not fall on ordinary families and farmers," Modi said.
