India, Sept. 11 -- Indian PM Narendra Modi on Friday met Russian President Vladimir Putin ahead of the BRICS Summit in New Delhi, the second meeting in less than two weeks.

The details of the meeting is still not clear.

Sharing a video on its X handle, RT India wrote: " Putin & PM Modi Meet For Bilateral On BRICS Sidelines In New Delhi."

In the video shared by RT India, the two leaders could be seen sharing a hug and handshake.

During their first meeting of the year, Modi and Putin reviewed progress in bilateral cooperation across several areas, including political, economic, defence, energy, space, mobility and people-to-people ties.
