India, March 2 -- Kuwait's Defence Ministry on Monday confirmed that several American fighter jets crashed in the country amid rising tensions across the Middle East. A ministry spokesperson, posting on the official X page, said all crew members survived and were immediately evacuated for medical evaluation and treatment.
"Their condition is stable," the post added. Authorities have launched search and rescue operations and are coordinating directly with US forces, implementing joint technical procedures to determine the cause of the crashes. Investigations are ongoing.
Earlier, Iran's IRNA news agency cited local sources reporting that a US F-15 fighter jet was shot down over Kuwait on Monday morning.
