India, Sept. 17 -- A 28-year-old Hyderabad man, who had got married just 17 days earlier, was mysteriously found dead inside his house in the United States, media reports said.

According to reports, Hussain last spoke to his family on September 14.

Hours later, his roommate contacted the family and informed them about his death.

The circumstances surrounding his death have not been disclosed.

Hussain's family has sought assistance from the Government of India to bring his mortal remains back to Hyderabad, citing financial difficulties.

Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) spokesperson Amjed Ullah Khan conveyed Hussain's father's appeal to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, seeking government assistance with the repatriation process.
