India, Aug. 19 -- The Birla Industrial & Technological Museum (BITM), a unit of the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Ministry of Culture, Government of India, will celebrate National Space Day with a three-day special programme from August 23 to 25, 2026, in Kolkata.

The initiative will give visitors an opportunity to explore space science through live demonstrations, an open-house quiz and guided telescope observations.

Science Show:

The 'SPACE-tacular' science show will be held daily at 11 am, featuring live demonstrations designed to make space science engaging and accessible.

Open House Quiz:

The 'India in Space' quiz will begin at 12 noon, testing participants' knowledge of India's achievements and milestones in space...
