India, Aug. 31 -- Electronics major LG Electronics has announced a collaboration with The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York to transform its televisions into digital art displays, allowing users to showcase works from the museum's collection at home.

As part of the collaboration, LG Gallery+ will introduce more than 100 artworks from The Met's collection, including Paul Cezanne's 1890 oil painting Still Life with Apples and a Pot of Primroses, Utagawa Hiroshige's 1849-49 woodblock print Seki, and Winslow Homer's 1895 painting Northeaster, the company said in a statement.

Inspired by LG's "Life's Good" tagline, the selection includes both well-known and lesser-known works representing themes associated with everyday life. These incl...
