India, Aug. 9 -- A senior commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) has reportedly died under mysterious circumstances at a mosque in Pakistan's Islamabad, days after another operative of the banned terror group claimed that dozens of its members had been killed by "unknown men" across the country.

Qari Saeed Abdul Aziz reportedly ate at an unfamiliar restaurant before heading to Quba Mosque in Islamabad to offer prayers.

He suddenly collapsed near the mosque's entrance and died.

The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, and there has been no immediate official explanation of the cause.
