Kolkata/IBNS, Aug. 9 -- As cinema has a way of travelling beyond borders, the second edition of the Thai Film Festival came to Kolkata on Friday, bringing together film enthusiasts, consuls general from different countries and audiences with an appreciation for global cinema.

Hosted at Cinepolis, Acropolis Mall, the festival welcomed audiences to free screenings and will continue for three consecutive days, showcasing seven Thai films spanning a wide range of genres, including romance, comedy and drama.

"This evening and over the next two days, we are taking you to Thailand through seven remarkable frames, seven unforgettable journeys, and one extraordinary Thailand."
