India, July 29 -- Stone cladding on kitchen walls is one of the most popular accent treatments in Indian homes right now. A rough-cut stone wall behind the cooking area or the breakfast counter adds texture, warmth and a sense of permanence that paint or wallpaper cannot match.

But choosing the right kitchen floor tile design to sit alongside stone cladding is where many homeowners trip up.
