India, June 21 -- US Vice President JD Vance has humorously revealed the names of an Indian and a Pakistani whom he considers among the most important people in his life, identifying one as Pakistani Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir.

The remarks were made on the sidelines of US-Iran talks held in Switzerland.

The Indian reference was to his wife, Usha Vance.

Speaking at the Swiss resort of Burgenstock after discussions with Iranian officials aimed at securing a long-term peace agreement, Vance said, as quoted by media reports:
