India, Sept. 15 -- Jadavpur University has tightened restrictions on movement and gatherings on its campus, with students and others found without a legitimate reason or permission after 8 pm to be treated as trespassers and face legal action, acting registrar Debajit Dutta said on Monday.

Evening students allowed till 9.30 PM

According to a circular issued by Dutta, only students attending evening courses will be allowed to remain on campus beyond 8 pm, and they must carry valid university identification.

Evening-course students can stay until 9.30 pm, in line with their class timings.
