Kolkata/IBNS, Aug. 12 -- The West Bengal Special Task Force (STF) has arrested a Pakistani national suspected of having links with the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and allegedly collecting sensitive information concerning India's security and strategic infrastructure.

The suspect has been identified as Rana Rauf, a resident of Faisalabad in Pakistan.

According to investigators, he was allegedly recruited by the ISI and entered India illegally after spending several years in Nepal.

Authorities suspect that Rauf was involved in gathering information related to the Indian Army, the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Railways.

After reaching West Bengal, investigators believe he attempted to establish a permanent identity in Kolkata...
