India, March 22 -- Nearly 200 people were injured after Iranian strikes hit the southern Israeli cities of Dimona and Arad on Saturday, according to media reports.

At least 11 people are said to be in serious condition. The blasts reportedly occurred after Israel reportedly failed to intercept at least two ballistic missiles.

Magen David Adom, Israel's national emergency medical service, said the casualties included a five-year-old girl in critical condition, 11 people with moderate injuries, and several others with minor wounds.

The attack comes amid repeated Iranian strikes targeting Dimona.
