India, Sept. 10 -- Apple has launched the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max at its "Surprise and Shine" event on Wednesday, bringing a series of hardware upgrades over last year's Pro models.

The new iPhones are powered by Apple's latest A20 Pro chipset and feature the company's new in-house C2 modem.

However, Apple has launched for the first time foldable iPhone, which is set to steal the spotlight - a high-priced device the company hopes will emerge as both a status symbol and a sign of renewed innovation.

iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max price in India

The iPhone 18 Pro starts at Rs 1,64,900 in India for the 256GB storage variant, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at Rs 1,79,900 for the same storage configuration.
