Mumbai/IBNS, June 10 -- Shares of Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL) jumped over 2 percent on Wednesday after the company announced a landmark partnership with Meta to develop an AI-enabled data centre in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

RIL's stock rose 2.39 percent to Rs. 1,300 on the BSE following the announcement.

India's First AI-Enabled Data Centre

The project will mark the establishment of India's first AI-enabled data centre and Meta's first built-to-suit data centre capacity in the country.

Reliance will develop a 168 MW data centre, scheduled for delivery within two years, with provisions for future expansion.
