India, Oct. 10 -- Indian Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh will undertake an official visit to Cyprus and Greece from October 12 to 15, 2026, to strengthen defence and strategic cooperation with the two European countries.

"Maritime security and defence industrial cooperation will remain prominent themes during the discussions with both the countries," according to an official statement issued by the Indian government.

During the first leg of his visit to Cyprus on October 12-13, Singh is scheduled to meet his counterparts in the Cypriot Ministry of Defence and call on the country's leadership.

Following the visit of the President of Cyprus to India in May 2026, the India-Cyprus Strategic Partnership has gained further momentum.
