India's defence diplomacy gets a boost as Rajnath Singh leaves for Vietnam, South Korea
India, May 18 -- Rajnath Singh will embark on an official visit to Vietnam from May 18 to 19, 2026, followed by a visit to the Republic of Korea from May 19 to 21, aimed at strengthening India's defence and strategic partnerships in the Indo-Pacific region.
In a post on X ahead of his departure, Singh said he looked forward to visiting the two Asian nations to further expand the scope of bilateral engagement.
"The focus will be on deepening strategic military cooperation, strengthening defence industrial partnerships, and boosting maritime collaboration, thereby promoting peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region," he said.
