India, Oct. 5 -- The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has completed constructing the world's highest motorable road, the Likaru-Migla-Fukche route, promising to improve connectivity in the region.
The strategically crucial road traverses Mig La, a towering 19,400-foot pass in eastern Ladakh near the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
With the construction of this road, BRO has now surpassed its own previous Guinness World Record, previously set with the completion of Umling La at an altitude of 19,024 feet.
Announcing the competion of the project, the Indian Army wrote on X: "#BRO creates history again!"
