New Delhi/IBNS, Aug. 20 -- In a tit-for-tat move, a section of structures outside the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi was demolished by authorities, who cited encroachment beyond the jurisdiction of the diplomatic mission, media reports said.

The action came days after Pakistani authorities removed protective security barricades placed outside the Indian High Commission in Islamabad.

Authorities in New Delhi used a JCB machine to remove structures and barricades placed outside the Pakistan High Commission.

Traffic bollards and barricades were removed, leaving debris outside the diplomatic mission.
