India, Feb. 27 -- A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court on Friday granted interim relief for the release of The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond, clearing the way for the film's theatrical debut and providing relief to its makers.
The movie was originally scheduled to hit the silver screen on February 27.
On Thursday, Justice Thomas had imposed a 15-day stay and directed the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to consider representations filed against the film.
With the stay now lifted, the film is expected to release on Friday evening.
