Noida/IBNS, Feb. 27 -- Indian cricketer Rinku Singh is mourning the loss of his father, Khanchand Singh, who passed away on Friday after a battle with advanced-stage liver cancer, media reports said.

Khanchand Singh had been on ventilator support at Yatharth Hospital in Greater Noida in recent days.

Though Rinku did not feature in the playing XI, he was present on the sidelines to support his team, which secured a convincing victory.
