India, Sept. 9 -- At least 10 workers are feared trapped after a massive crane collapsed at a construction site in Gujarat's Gandhinagar on Wednesday evening, triggering a major rescue operation.

Officials said around 10-15 workers may be trapped beneath the debris after the crane collapsed at the site in the Kudasan area of the state capital.

Authorities have rescued four workers so far.

Rescue operation underway

Police and fire officials rushed to the construction site soon after receiving information about the collapse.

Rescue personnel are currently working to locate and evacuate those believed to be trapped beneath the collapsed structure.
