India, July 8 -- The wait for Google enthusiasts may soon be over, with the tech giant reportedly set to host its next Made by Google launch event for Pixel hardware on August 12 in New York City, according to The Verge.

The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. local time.

According to The Verge, Google sent out invitation emails featuring a brief animation that appears to tease a gold-coloured handset from the upcoming Pixel 11 lineup.

Leaks that have surfaced so far suggest the base Pixel 11 could feature slimmer bezels than the Pixel 10, along with a redesigned solid black camera bar.
