From drinking partners to murder: Lucknow man electrocutes friend to steal Rs 2,250 from his pocket
India, Oct. 4 -- A man allegedly electrocuted his drinking partner to death and stole Rs 2,250 from his pocket in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, police said.
The accused, identified as Birju, had been drinking alcohol with his friend Sachin, who reportedly lost consciousness after consuming a large amount of liquor.
Taking advantage of the situation, Birju allegedly electrocuted Sachin and stole the money from his pocket after he died.
He then reportedly dumped Sachin's body outside the house of an unidentified person in an attempt to make the death appear accidental.
