India, July 4 -- A nutritionist has argued that for improving the gut system, a person should focus on their nervous system more than on turning to probiotics or fibre-rich foods.

Nutritionist Deepsikha Jain shared a video on Instagram where she focussed on how chronic stress and an unregulated nervous system can disrupt digestion and ultimately affect your overall gut health.

In the video, that has earned a significant number of viewership, the nutritionist said a regulated nervous system will help you activate a parasympathetic rest and digest state.
