Kolkata/IBNS, May 2 -- Holders FORMIDABLES and overnight leader GUNS'n'ROSE along with other favourites including MAVERICKS, MONICA JAJOO, BANGUR CEMENT, DEEPADHAAR, PRIME and SLAMMERS displayed fine acumen to enter the quarter finals of the team event of the 9th All India Shree Cement Bridge Championship on the second day of the meet at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre in New Town here Friday.

In the pre-quarter finals FORMIDABLES drubbed MIRACLES by 71- 4 International Match Points (IMPs) and GUNS'n'ROSE beat CONQUERORS 118-57 IMPs while MONICA JAJOO outplayed MAHARAJA by 91.- 44.IMPs and BANGUR CEMENT easily beat CHALLENGERS with 89-59 IMPs.
