India, Sept. 1 -- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the Heads of State Council Summit in Tianjin, in a display of ties among the three leaders as Washington imposed tariffs on New Delhi.
Sharing the image of the huddle on his X page, Modi wrote: "Interactions in Tianjin continue! Exchanging perspectives with President Putin and President Xi during the SCO Summit."
In another image, Modi could be seen sharing a hug and a handshake with Putin.
In his X post, he said, "Always a delight to meet President Putin!"
He is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Putin on Monday.
