India, Oct. 12 -- Three Qatari officials were killed and two others injured after their vehicle crashed near Egypt's Red Sea resort city of Sharm el-Sheikh, media reports said on Sunday.
In a statement posted on X, the Qatari Embassy in Cairo expressed deep sorrow over the deaths of "three members of the Amiri Diwan."
The embassy identified the deceased as Saud bin Thamer Al Thani, Abdullah Ghanem Al Khayareen, and Hassan Jaber Al Jaber.
The embassy said it was closely coordinating with Egyptian authorities following the accident.
The bodies of the deceased and the injured will be flown to Doha on a Qatari aircraft later today, according to a report by Qatar Tribune.
