Drinking up to 5 cups of coffee a day may be safe for your heart, study finds
India, July 21 -- Drinking up to five cups of caffeinated coffee a day appears to be safe for most adults and may even lower the risk of cardiovascular disease, according to a new scientific statement from the American Heart Association (AHA). However, the organisation cautioned that high doses of caffeine from energy drinks and energy shots may pose serious risks to heart health.
The statement, "Caffeine and Cardiovascular Disease," was published in the AHA's flagship peer-reviewed journal Circulation.
