Washington DC/IBNS, Oct. 30 -- Just minutes prior to his meeting with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, US President Donald Trump on Wednesday ordered the nuclear arms testing "on an equal basis", media reports said.
Trump, who met Xi in South Korea on the sidelines of the APEC Summit, ordered the US Department of War to test the nuclear weapons though he claimed he "hated" to do it.
This comes on a day Russian President Vladimir Putin announced he successfully tested a Poseidon nuclear-powered super torpedo amid the US-Russia faceoff.
Earlier, Putin had tested a new Burevestnik cruise missile on October 21 and nuclear launch drills on 22nd of the same month.
