India, April 3 -- Dubai has dismissed online reports claiming that Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) targeted a data centre belonging to US technology giant Oracle Corporation in the city.

In a statement posted on X, the Dubai Media Office described the claims that the IRGC had launched or attempted an attack on the company's data centre as "fake news."

Reinforcing its stance, the office shared a post captioned: "Fake News Alert."
