New Delhi, Oct. 8 -- India's aviation regulator, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), has imposed a penalty of Rs.20 lakh on IndiGo for alleged deficiencies in pilot training at Category C aerodromes, InterGlobe Aviation said on Wednesday.

The airline informed stock exchanges that it received the regulator's communication on September 26, 2025, as reported by The Economic Times.

The airline added that the penalty has "no material impact" on its financials, operations, or other business activities.

The company also cited an unintentional delay in disclosing the information, attributing it to a lag in the internal communication of the order's details.
