India, Aug. 31 -- An X user's claim that a Delhi astrologer could be earning around Rs 2.5 crore annually has sparked an online debate over the profession, its business model and the growing demand for personalised astrological consultations.

The discussion began after X user Neetu Khandelwal shared details she said had been given to her by a relative who had recently enrolled with the astrologer and was encouraging her to do the same.

According to Khandelwal, the astrologer charges Rs 25,000 per year for three consultations, with each session lasting around 30 minutes.
