Kolkata/IBNS, May 23 -- A debate over the balance between professional duty and political ideology has erupted after CPI-M leader and senior lawyer Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharya appeared in court for former Trinamool Congress MLA Aditi Munshi and her husband Debraj Chakraborty.

Bhattacharya represented the couple in the Calcutta High Court where they sought anticipatory bail in a case linked to alleged corruption charges.
