India, Oct. 8 -- A third-year engineering student at a leading IT institute in Chhattisgarh has been suspended after over 30 women students accused him of using artificial intelligence (AI) tools to create obscene, morphed versions of their photographs.

College authorities said the student, who is from Bilaspur and enrolled in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Naya Raipur, was found in possession of over 1,000 photos and videos of women students.
