Kolkata/IBNS, Oct. 3 -- Brazil defeated India 4-0 in an international friendly at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata on Saturday.

Pedro then doubled Brazil's advantage before the break, leaving India with a two-goal deficit at half-time.

India attempted to respond after the restart but found it difficult to break through Brazil's defence and create clear scoring opportunities.
