India, July 20 -- The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has facilitated the first export of 24 metric tonnes (MT) of frozen French fries from Kashipur in Uttarakhand's Udham Singh Nagar district to Iraq.

The consignment, exported by Virun Global Trade Pvt. Ltd., marks a significant milestone in promoting value-added agricultural exports from Uttarakhand and further strengthens India's growing processed food export portfolio.
