India, June 18 -- A woman in Bihar's Begusarai has alleged that she was gang-raped by five men who forcibly entered her home, locked her husband inside a room and subjected her to brutal sexual violence.

The incident took place on the night of June 11 in an area under Chakiya Police Station limits.

According to the survivor, the accused entered the house around 11.30 pm when she had stepped out to use the toilet.

She further alleged that the attackers slashed her chest and thigh with a blade when she tried to resist and raise an alarm.
