India, July 21 -- Private sector lender Bandhan Bank on Tuesday reported a more than 11% year-on-year growth in total business for the first quarter of FY2026-27, with its total business crossing Rs.3.2 lakh crore.

The bank said its retail deposits now account for nearly 74% of total deposits, reflecting a strong and stable deposit franchise.

Bandhan Bank attributed the growth to its expanding distribution network, improved operational efficiency, and continued focus on customer-centric banking. The lender reported a net profit of Rs.502 crore for the April-June quarter.

The bank currently serves around 3.2 crore customers through nearly 6,400 banking outlets spread across 35 of India's 36 states and Union Territories. It employs more ...
