India, March 1 -- Bahrain's Ministry of Interior on Sunday said the Crowne Plaza, a prominent five-star hotel complex in Manama, was targeted amid Iran's retaliatory actions.
Several videos circulating on social media showed smoke rising from the building. While some posts claimed the hotel was struck by drones, it remains unclear whether the damage was caused by a direct hit or by debris from intercepted projectiles.
In a statement posted on X, the Ministry said: "The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Manama was targeted, resulting in material damage but no loss of life."
According to multiple media reports, Iran also targeted parts of the Gulf region - including Dubai, Abu Dhabi and areas in Qatar - in fresh attacks launched on Sunday.
