Chennai/IBNS, Nov. 13 -- Ashok Leyland Ltd, the Indian flagship of the Hinduja Group, on Wednesday reported a strong financial performance for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, with profit before exceptional items and tax rising 23% year-on-year to Rs.1,083 crore, compared with Rs.878 crore in the same period last year.

EBITDA for the quarter stood at Rs.1,162 crore, up from Rs.1,017 crore a year earlier, with margins improving to 12.1% from 11.6%.

The bus industry continued its upward trajectory, marking growth for the 18th consecutive quarter. Ashok Leyland maintained a domestic MHCV market share of over 30% and retained its leadership in the bus segment. The LCV domestic market share in addressable segments also improved.
