Kanpur/IBNS, Feb. 12 -- Shivam Mishra, son of tobacco businessman K.K. Mishra was granted bail within hours of his arrest in connection with a car crash in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur, media reports said.

Shivam was arrested on Thursday morning, four days after the accident that left six people injured.

The impact reportedly flung the motorbike rider nearly 10 feet into the air. The car then mounted the two-wheeler's front wheel, dragged it for some distance, and eventually crashed into a pole before coming to a halt.

Eyewitnesses claimed Shivam Mishra attempted to flee the scene, but locals smashed the windows of the Lamborghini Revuelto and pulled him out of the vehicle.
