Mumbai/IBNS, May 1 -- Trading remains halted on Friday as Indian stock markets are shut on account of Maharashtra Day and International Workers' Day, according to media reports.
BSE, NSE suspend trading
Both the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange are closed for the day, with no activity in equities or related segments.
Commodity market also shut
The National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange has also suspended trading for the session.
Markets will reopen on the next working day.
