India, Aug. 22 -- Apple is cutting jobs across teams responsible for its Siri digital assistant and Vision Pro headset as the tech giant seeks to refocus its efforts on artificial intelligence (AI) and new devices, media reports said.

The company is also laying off employees from its Intelligent Systems Experience team, part of Apple's software engineering organization that works on several AI-powered features across its devices, according to people familiar with the matter, Bloomberg reported.

As part of the restructuring, Apple is largely shutting down a Vision Pro team focused on gaming for the headset and reducing the size of another unit responsible for producing immersive video content for the device, the report said.
