India, April 10 -- Placing the Uniform Civil Code at the centre of its West Bengal pitch, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday said the BJP would implement it within six months if voted to power, as he unveiled the party's 'Sankalp Patra' for the state elections.
He said the manifesto focuses on farmers, youth, women, and government employees, promising what he described as a new direction and renewed hope for the state.
