India, April 18 -- Pakistan Navy has successfully test-fired a locally developed anti-ship ballistic missile capable of engaging targets at extended ranges, according to media reports citing the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
"In a resolute display of preparedness and precision-strike capability, Pakistan Navy conducted a live firing of an indigenously developed ship-launched anti-ship missile, accurately engaging its target at high speed over extended range," the ISPR said, as reported by Dawn News.
The launch was witnessed by Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, along with senior scientists and engineers.
