India, Aug. 5 -- Air India has introduced its new Boeing 787-9 aircraft on the Delhi-Toronto route and announced a major expansion of its Canada operations for the Winter 2026-27 season, including a new non-stop Mumbai-Toronto service, additional capacity and upgraded aircraft on Toronto flights.

The airline said the deployment of the Boeing 787-9 brings its latest cabin interiors and onboard product to Canada for the first time. Along with the expanded schedule, Air India plans to increase overall capacity between India and Canada by 4,400 seats per month, while premium seat capacity on Toronto services will rise by 71%.
