Mumbai/IBNS, April 17 -- The list of Asia's richest individuals has witnessed a reshuffle, with Gautam Adani overtaking Mukesh Ambani to claim the top spot, media reports said.

The shift comes after Ambani held the position of Asia's richest person for several years.

Both Adani and Ambani continue to feature among the top 20 richest individuals globally.

The development had a positive impact on Adani Group stocks on Friday.
